The International Association for K–12 Online Learning has developed a set of competencies for teachers called the Blended Learning Teacher Competency Framework. This framework can guide teachers and school and district leaders as they work to build capacity for effective blended instruction. Successful blended teachers must develop critical competencies (mindsets, qualities, and skills) that allow them to leverage technology and face-to-face instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
