How can primary school teachers use technology to promote inclusive practice? With so many new technologies being developed and made available to schools, how do we ensure that we select resources that enhance inclusive teaching in the classroom? How do we make sure that new technologies are integrated into every day teaching?

This chapter examines how primary teachers and Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs) might integrate technology in Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) lessons for children in the Primary stages. Practical guidance is offered on employing technology in the PSHE curriculum at Key Stages 1 and 2. A diverse range of technologies is explored, including assistive or inclusive technologies as well as more general educational technologies. Through case studies and examples, this chapter will show how technology can enhance the development of pupils' life skills, and provide specialised support to groups and individuals where needed.
