This chapter focuses on how Information Communication Technology (ICT) can enhance children's learning in Design and Technology. This is a subject which is very practical and allows pupils to reach a given outcome through trial and error, a fundamental aspect of computational thinking. During Design and Technology lessons, teachers need to encourage pupils to take risks with their thinking and be creative.

Pupils should be guided to:
