The outdoor environment offers many fabulous learning opportunities that engage and excite the senses. Allowing children to interact with the outdoor environment and to share and capture their journey with others is a powerful tool. Mobile technologies offer children with motor and sensory impairments different ways to experience the physical world. They can become explorers, scientists, treasure hunters, spies and much more beside. This chapter aims to explore learning outdoors with technology and encouraging children to engage with the environment in ways that appeal to multisensory learning, personal development and enjoyment.
