Gendered Instruction

There are three different ways schools offer gendered instruction: (1) coed schools where teachers are responsive to the different learning strengths and weaknesses of girls and boys, (2) coordinate schools where some classes in the school are coed and some of the classes are single-sex, and (3) single-sex schools where all the students are either girls or boys, including dual academies where the teachers teach only one gender. Whatever kind of school you teach in, the principles contained in this book can be applied in your classroom, even if you don't teach science or math.
