Dealing with stress

I wish I had known the information presented in this chapter earlier in my teaching career, as I taught many girls who suffered from various forms of test and math anxiety. What I have learned fairly recently about differences in the way stress is manifested in females and males has given me some strategies to pass on. My students tell me these strategies work.
