In this chapter, strategies for incorporating maths into different subject areas, particularly vocational, are explored. Maths skills can be embedded into most subjects and the level of complexity can vary, resulting in much scope for differentiating activities. The chosen maths skills for this chapter mirror the current functional skills criteria at various levels as the functional aspect of these is particularly relevant. The purpose of this is also to identify the level that is required for those particular skills.
