Warm-Up Activity – ‘the Pea Game’

The aim of this game is for the students to collect as many peas as possible. The facilitator will need a length of rope approximately 2–3 metres long and knotted at one end to provide a framework, some dried peas and something for the students to collect the peas in, e.g. small bowls or tins. The facilitator will also need a whistle to indicate the start and end to this task. The facilitator will stand in the centre of the room with the rope.
