In this chapter, we demonstrate how enquiry and leadership of change can be integrated, through enquiry taking on a fresh focus to support the change process and the development of leadership capacity. Research enables teachers to see the everyday in classrooms and schools in new ways, making the tacit explicit and enabling them to learn from what they experience. We move beyond the straitjacket of teacher research projects which, while they have been liberating for many, are in danger of constraining us to a problem-solving model.
