Helping Young Children Learn

In this chapter the following questions will be considered:

In reality our expectations of children are very high, especially socially. Children of today have a very different social life than previous generations. What we do as adults will make a difference to the children's experience and their learning. Being clear about, and agreeing with colleagues, what messages we want to give about the values and principles guiding our practice will make it easier to make these a reality.
