When I was young, I taught myself how to ride a two-wheeled bike. I practiced a few times before I let anyone know I could do it. Once I felt confident, I called my parents and friends outside to show off my new skill. I got on the bike and within 30 seconds wiped out in front of all of them. I had set up a situation with such pressure. It wasn't that I could not ride the bike. I had the skill. It was the factors in and around the performance that held the power to bring me down.
