Aim

To introduce to young people that stressful life events have an impact on our mental and physical health in a sequential order.

Materials

Each group:

  • ‘Body’ activity sheet
  • ‘Scenario’ activity sheets
  • post-its in three different colours
  • pens.
Method

The smaller groups are further split down into three groups each with a different colour post-it. The participants are asked to think about the young person in the picture and to come up with as many words as possible to describe how that young person may be; group one: thinking and feeling emotionally; group two: physically feeling and group three: how that young person may behave or act.
