Introduction
It is important to clearly state the aims of the sessions. The underlying theme of this project is to raise self-esteem and resilience in young people. This initial session is the most important in helping the young people understand the benefits of being involved such as: gaining confidence and self-esteem, helping build resilience, developing strategies for coping and support, raising academic aspirations and achievements and developing relationship building skills.
