Leadership Brilliance is about more than activating the brilliance of the adults in a school. It is also about reducing the barriers that keep students from tapping into their brilliance. We call this Reducing Drag. Drag is the aerodynamic force that opposes an aircraft’s motion through the air. Drag creates resistance that slows down an aircraft. In schools, drag represents all the barriers (intentional and unintentional) that hold back students from engaging fully in their work, learning at their peak, and blossoming into full potential.
