In this chapter, we will look at the idea of introducing a peer learning approach to reflection to primary school pupils, basically applying much of what we have been discussing in this book for professionals into a classroom context. If we can encourage pupils to stop, reflect on and talk about their learning, perhaps it will enable us to also develop the appropriate skills and attitudes. A pilot study was held in a local primary school, before the full study, looking at supporting pupils to develop their reflective skills.
