If we want to help children in the primary school to achieve the positive outcomes set out in the Every Child Matters agenda, we need to ensure all children have a healthy self esteem. This book seeks to give adults in schools tools to look at the way they could enhance self esteem in children. Though pages from the book can be enlarged to A4 and photocopied, teachers will find it more convenient to use the CD for printing copies both of the training sessions and the activity sheets.

There is a PowerPoint presentation which can be used in the training sessions. The text from this is also in the book so that teachers who prefer not to use PowerPoint can make a copy on a flipchart or overhead projector.
