Overview
The Children and Young People's Workforce Strategy (DCSF, 2008) recommends that everyone who works with children and young people should be committed to integrated working with other professionals in order to improve outcomes for children and young people. In this chapter, I look at the background to the move towards integrated working and measures that have been taken to promote this. I then explore some of the ways that professionals from different backgrounds are attempting to work together and consider how multidisciplinary working may be accomplished.
