If you are a primary trainee, you must demonstrate a knowledge of mathematics to be recommended for QTS. This popular, widely recommended text helps you audit your knowledge of mathematics and understand what learning you need to pass your course. Perceived competence and confidence is one thing. How would you do if actually put to the test? It really doesn't matter how well or how badly you do in the test now, you have lots of time to make up for the mathematics you have forgotten or never knew in the first place. The following pages explore your knowledge and understanding in the areas of mathematics identified in the self-audit in Part 3. Take as long as you need and try not to cheat too much by looking at the answers! The marking system is straightforward.
