As educators, we would like to post our objective/focus for this chapter before we jump into it. The awkward truth is that we don’t have a single focus for these pages; rather, we have two separate objectives to put forth.
- Objective #1: To experience as learners the progression of a series of content tasks as cognition deepens and engagement and strategy increase.
- Objective #2: To analyze the relationships between (and interdependence of) the three design components to increase the rigor of a task.
