Whole-school personalization can occur when continuous interaction among participants in the school stretches the vision they share so it can accommodate further change. Some participants can focus on removing barriers and strengthening incentives. Others can enlarge the group of contributors working to realize that vision. Someone has to reconcile the emerging vision with established models. The principal(s) have to lead innovation across the school while adapting systems to permit further change.
