Person-Centred Therapy in Focus provides a much-needed exploration of the criticisms levelled against one of the most widespread forms of therapeutic practice. The person-centred attachment to a ‘non-directive’ approach is seen by some to be a denial of the inevitable power of the therapist in the therapeutic relationship.
