When 4-year-old Sharon is brought to the music therapy clinic for a consultation session she screams and runs around, trying to get out of the door of the waiting room. Her mother cannot persuade her to walk into the music room so she brings her in the push-chair, still screaming. The room is laid out with appropriately-sized instruments, a brightly coloured drum, a shiny cymbal, bar chimes hanging from a stand, and a selection of small percussion instruments.
