Effective educational leaders create conditions that make it possible to improve teaching and learning. Organisational learning contributes to the positive and long lasting resolution of problems of practice. Organisations depend on individuals who learn, because people bring the ability to learn to the organisation. People can model this learning in everyday problem-solving or they can block learning when the organisation has to solve complex problems. An organisation that commits to learning which enables productive behaviour is able to build productive relationships.
