Once you’ve established your team of locals and specialists (see Chapter 2, Team Work), and begun planning your approach (see Chapter 8), you will also need to manage the overall exercise while it’s happening.

You may be quite relaxed about (politely) giving direction to people more senior and experienced than yourself, or the prospect may terrify you until you’ve had some practice (see Chapter 12 for more advice on managing yourself and your actions).
