There can be several difficulties when managing a regeneration programme for other people:

  • Is everyone really committed to the objectives of the programme? This may be broadly true in terms of the partner organisations, but key individuals may have their own agendas, and in some cases may be wedded to alternative regeneration objectives and approaches from other initiatives – and newcomers to partner organisations may bring different ideas as well.
