The activities in this book rely heavily on a technique called ‘Draw and Talk’ for younger children and ‘Draw and Write’ for older children. Draw and Talk is a simple drawing and talking activity, loosely based on the illuminative Drw and Write research strategies originally devised by Noreen Wetton, and now widely used in developing and evaluating curriculum programmes in health education.
