No matter what the community or commitment to ECM and extended schooling, leaders' success will inevitably depend upon the people they work with effectively, both internal and external to the school. Chapters 4 to 8 look in detail at this.

Chapter 4 deals with staffing issues, examining new approaches to staff management and structures, the kind of roles emerging and the people filling them. Chapter 5 covers the whole issue of accountability in this complex world of people leadership and management.
