Have you ever looked closely at a spider's web? It is one of nature's wonders. A spider begins with one long thread and hopes that the wind will attach it to a stationary object to create a ‘U’-shaped structure, and then it extends a thread downward from the ‘U’-shaped structure and reinforces it with another to create a central configuration shaped like a ‘Y’. Now the spider builds the outer perimeter extending from the points of the ‘Y’ and connects threads from the inner ‘Y’ structure to the perimeter.
