Chapter Overview
The object of this chapter is to help elementary and high school teachers better explore the theme of sustainability, combining indoor and outdoor activities (through fieldwork, research and interviews). For that, I have created six class plans focusing on consumption and consumerism. Most of the activities have being tested in elementary and high schools in Brazil, and the results are promising regarding increasing comprehension of sustainability as well as offering incentives to embody daily actions to build a more sustainable society and, above all, more conscious and responsible citizens.
