Right and Left as Mirror Images of Each other
The purpose of this chapter is to argue that what can be called the ‘traditional’ ideologies of Left and Right are both in crisis, and to suggest what are both the causes and symptoms of the difficulties confronting those ideologies which for much of the period of modernity dominated the political scene.
