While I was working voluntarily for ARCH I decided it was time to think about driving a four-wheel car instead of my invalid car. I had been driving a long time now. It was a disadvantage not to take passengers in the invalid car. Also, they were quite dangerous to drive in bad weather.
It was quite a gamble to make this change. I would have to take the full driving test and in order to afford a new adapted car I would have to exchange my invalid car for the mobility allowance.
