PowerPoint Presentations

A five- or ten-minute oral presentation by each young researcher is a good end goal to have and is an incentive for pupils who find the ‘writing up’ stage of their research heavy going. Most pupils should be familiar with PowerPoint from Year 6 upwards and will enjoy creating their own ‘slide show’. The bank of design templates in the software package provides plenty of scope and pupils will delight in adding animation and importing picture illustrations.
