The multiple possibilities for indigenous and anticolonial group interventions in counseling psychology have not yet been realized. Although graduate students in counseling psychology are required to take a course in group counseling for their practicum training, the majority of these students do not have the opportunity to actually develop and implement an anticolonial counseling intervention.
