Affirming Multiple Identities
A major objective of the Handbook is to demonstrate the continuing advancement and applicability of multicultural counseling in our diverse society. In line with this objective, Part VI reflects the perspective that it is critical for counseling professionals to think broadly about the various facets of diverse identities that may be relevant in the provision of psychological interventions.
