A values-based organization is one where:

  • The organization has chosen to strive towards values orientation in all aspects of its function and business.
  • Employees of the organization strive to uphold values in all their dealings with each other, with customers, vendors, regulators, government agencies and any other external entities dealing with the organization.

For the purpose of implementation, the management may focus on specific values and decide that the collective endeavour will be to ensure that all employees live these values in the context of every facet of the organization's business and function.
