CHILD:What do I wear to court?

ADULT: You should wear your nicest clothes to court. Some children like to wear their favorite dress, pants or shoes.

CHILD:What will happen to me in court?

ADULT: You will go to the court room where you will sit down in the witness seat. This is just a chair that is near the judge so he or she can hear you. The judge and jury will listen while the lawyers ask you some questions. Sometimes the judge will talk to the lawyers, and to you, too. You can leave the room when the lawyers are done talking to you.
