Some courses will include other kinds of assignment in addition to essays. These non-essay assignments take many forms. In almost all cases the advice of the first seven chapters of this book will be relevant. You will need to read the literature, plan, organise your work, be rational, critical and analytic, and present well-written work in a professional manner and with the correct referencing and so on.
