Anwar has submitted his research proposal to the Research Ethics Committee (REC) at his UK university. For his PhD, he is planning to conduct an exploration of the educational experiences of children in urban boarding schools for rural children. He wants to interview ten students in three such institutions, in his home country: South Africa.
