This ten-session program improves adolescent girls' confidence, self-esteem and self-awareness, encouraging students to develop problem-solving strategies about peer pressure, sex, substance abuse, and being a parent.
Session 10: Evaluation and Looking Forward
Introduction
The facilitator can outline the main aims of this session as follows:
- For students to review and reflect on what has been learnt on the course.
- For students to decide on their own Bill of Rights, thereby stating how they feel they should be treated in life and how others should be treated.
- For students to envisage their preferred future and what they need to do to get there.
The students will complete an evaluation feedback form, and there will be an opportunity to present congratulation certificates to each of the individuals on the course in order to mark their successful participation in the Girl's World programme.
