This case illustration addresses culturally responsive therapy grounded in a feminist-interpersonal framework. Congruent with my cultural values and feminist-interpersonal orientation, I make reference to what I bring to the therapeutic relationship and how I use myself as a therapeutic tool. This case further illustrates therapeutic work from an Evidence-Based Practice in Psychology (EBPP) perspective, defined as the integration of the best available research with clinical expertise based on the client's culture and unique individual characteristics (American Psychological Association [APA], 2006).
