What does an integrated primary curriculum look like? How can cross-curricular work help children to learn more effectively?

Chapter Introduction
In this chapter Hugh Moore works with Sue Wilcock of Tatham Fells school near Lancaster and Emily Lyons of St Mary's, Kirkby Lonsdale, to enable children to identify the values that underpin our own view of who we are. They propose using cross-curricular learning to enable children to address these deeply held values through a range of activities which engage the children in a genuine historical enquiry. Mathematics plays a particularly important role in developing further the concept of time lines.
