All the main stakeholders had now been consulted – except for the parents. For those in small schools this could be covered by simply arranging a meeting and then going through the same exercise as all the other stakeholders. Unfortunately this was not possible for us (due to our large size) and I guess this would be the same for many other schools. Due to this fact, and the particular area in which our school is located, it was felt that the parents would be the most difficult group to ‘reach’.
