Is verbalization the only procedure for enhancement of cognitive strategies? Although verbalization has been shown to be an effective procedure in the two preceding chapters, obviously it is not the only one.

First, we repeat that “much of metacognition may be implicit, that is, not verbalized or articulated. Our job is to provide tasks and problems that will shape the development of an individual's own strategies for solving them” (Frith & Frith, 2012).
