Much of the community dialogue around protecting our children from COVID-19 has focused on the masks, gloves, and disinfectant wipes that are used to minimize our exposure to this virus. These are important measures, but perhaps there is more than protection. Maybe the imperative is not the urgent call for disinfection but the more subtle, silent call that is less about protection and more about understanding.
