It is a general principle on all courses in the School of Health and Social Care at Reading University that anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive values will permeate all activities and all learning. Thus, all lecturers and practice assessors are expected to be familiar with anti-oppressive principles and to refer to them and reinforce them whenever possible. In addition, on some courses, there are specific teaching modules on anti-oppressive practice.
