To effectively institutionalize any major change within an organization, there is a need to look forward to how the change will impact the organization. Equally important is the need to assess where the organization is now in regard to the critical components that will be impacted by this change—ones that will help support the implementation as well as ones that may serve as barriers to the implementation.
