Manella, Nora Margaret (1951-)

In 1951 Nora Margaret Manella was born in Los Angeles. She earned her bachelor's degree from Wellesley College in Massachusetts in 1972. She pursued her J.D. at the University of Southern California, where she graduated in 1975. After receiving her degree, she was a clerk for the Hon. John Minor Wisdom in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth circuit. From 1976 to 1978 she served as legal counsel on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on the Constitution. After a brief stint in her own private practice, she became the assistant U.S. attorney for the Central District of California in 1982.
