Hasselstrom, Linda M. (1943-)

Linda Hasselstrom is a writer, rancher, educator, and environmentalist. She is known for her poetry and nonfiction work, primarily focused upon the lives of western women and her life on a South Dakota cattle ranch. In addition to writing, she has also been a reporter, educator, and public speaker, and currently performs readings for elementary school teachers and offers writing workshops from her ranch for other women authors. She received a B.A. in English and Journalism from the University of South Dakota in 1965 and an M.A. in English from the University of Missouri, Columbia, in 1969.
