Wilken, Claudia Ann (1949-)

Claudia Ann Wilken was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1949. After receiving her B.A. from Stanford University in 1971, she began to study law at Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley. In 1975 she graduated with her J.D. and began as a staff attorney for the Federal Public Defender's Office in the Northern District of California. After 3 years, she opened her private practice in Berkeley, where she worked for the next 6 years. During this time, she was an adjunct professor at the Boalt Hall School of Law, and she also served as a professor at the New College School of Law from 1980 until 1985.
