Snyder, Christina A. (1947-)

In 1947 Christina A. Snyder was born in Los Angeles. She attended Pomona College, graduating with her B.A. in 1969. She studied law at Stanford Law School and received her J.D. in 1972. Immediately after graduation, she began her private practice in her home state and worked there for the next 25 years. When Edward Rafeedie vacated his seat on the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, President Bill Clinton nominated her to fill the position on January 7, 1997. The Senate confirmed the nomination on November 7, 1997, and she received her commission on November 10, 1997.
